■ENFIELD took advantage of the best possible start to edge out Margate.
They took the lead in the first minute, Mickey Parcell emphatically converting Aaron Greene’s deep cross.
Parcell and the lively Montell Moore both tested Gate keeper Patrick Lee.
Sam Youngs had the ball in the Margate net after 34 minutes, but he was offside from Moore’s pass.
The visitors’ Frannie Collin and Lee Prescott had chances before Town’s Simon Thomas was inches from a low Greene cross.
