TEN-MAN Colne claimed three valuable points to lift them up the table in a fiercely contested game.
The Reds had the edge in the first half and took the lead after 20 minutes when Oliver Crankshaw raced clear and found the bottom corner.
Two minutes before half time Crankshaw doubled Colne’s lead with a stunning shot from a narrow angle.
On the hour Colne’s central defender Jonathan Hodgkinson was sent off for handling a shot on the goal line but Hakan Burton kept out the spotkick.
