VASE SUB ERROR IS CRITICAL FOR WEST

A GLARING error by all three match officials has led to Westbury United being knocked out of the FA Vase.
Officials of the Toolstation Western Division One leaders asked three times before the September 23 home second qualifying round game against Sydenhams Wessex One side Christchurch if they could use four substitutes – and the referee and his two linesmen agreed.
Westbury came from two goals down and went on to win 5-2 after bringing on their fourth substitute.
