IT may have been Friday 13th this week but their was an eerie silence at Fakenham’s Clipbush Park on Tuesday night when the Ghosts failed to turn up! Fakenham – nicknamed the
Ghosts – left Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League chiefs spooked after failing to turn out for their home game against Great Yarmouth Town in protest.
The visitors were warming up when they were told at 7.30pm that their opponents – bottom of the table with just one win in 11 games – had refused to play.
