FORMER England cricketer Steve Harmison has resigned from his first role in football, stepping down from his joint-manager role at Ashington.
Harmison, who famously won the Ashes with England in 2005, took the job at the Northern League side in 2015 and was running things alongside former Blyth Spartans boss Tom Wade, who joined at the start of the current season.
