AS I write this, I have just returned from the FA Trophy tie between Kidlington and Winchester City. The result was a disappointing defeat for Winchester, but what leaves a bitter taste is the conduct shown by the home side and the referee.
Throughout the game, the official seemed determined to be the centre of attention, while the home side took their victory with poor grace, seemingly blocking off the route to the changing room to gloat as the teams left the field.
