BOWERS & PITSEA picked up their first win in three games with victory over Aveley, Tony Stokes and David Knight with the goals.
A very quiet first half sparked into life when Knight’s corner missed everyone and hit the post.
Bowers took the lead on the stroke of half-time as Stokes headed home after James Thomas’s shot was deflected high into the air.
