CARSHALTON got back to winning ways as they defeated Ashford at Colston Avenue.
United keeper Aaron Lee- Wharton saved Jordan Cheadle’s third-minute penalty, but Raheem Sterling-Parker’s penalty put the hosts ahead.
Carshalton doubled it through Mickel Miller on the hour, cruising until Max Watters pulled one back.
Tommy Bradford and sub Ricky Korboa scored similar left-footed strikes near the end however, rendering Matt Day’s late header a mere consolation.
