BISHOPS CLEEVE 1 SLIMBRIDGE

THE POINTS were shared in a fiercely contested local derby by way of a penalty apiece.
Slimbridge had the ball in the Cleeve net when Max Harper-Emerson put in a Marley Thomas cross but it ruled offside.
In reply shots from Jack Watts and Elliot Kennedy tested Ollie Hall in the Slimbridge goal.
Cleeve were awarded a penalty when Ollie Hall brought down Jack Watts and Elliot Kennedy converted the spot kick.
The visitors started the second half on the front foot but were thwarted by a resilient Cleeve defence and chances for both sides were few.
