WITTON recovered from a shocking start to grab their first away win since mid- September, stretching the hosts search for a win anywhere to eleven games.
Kyle Fryatt, one of four changes by Town manager Chris Hardy, broke the deadlock to give Whitby a dream start inside 70 seconds.
Dan McWilliams overlapped down the left and Fryatt’s welltimed run gave him the chance to clip the ball past the onrushing Calvin Hare and into the net.
