SUTTON COLDFIELD belied their position at the foot of the table when Gurjit Singh’s early strike was the only goal at Farsley.
Singh fired home from the edge of the box on the half-volley with only two minutes on the clock.
Farsley’s Ryan Watson had a couple of half chances in the first-half but failed to hit the target.
And the struggling visitors almost doubled their advantage when Singh crossed to Lee Smith who was denied by a fabulous save from Farsley keeper Kyle Trenerry.
Trenerry came to Farsley’s rescue again ...
