MICHAEL WILLIAMS and Jake Green struck in a twominute spell shortly before the interval to ensure Matlock Town’s comfortable victory.
The struggling Halesowen side rarely threatened and never looked as if they would improve their secondfrom- bottom standing in the table.
Matlock had been knocking on the door in the early stages without creating strong chances.
And while the visitors stemmed the tide in the opening quarter they never threatened to pierce the home defence.
