BISHOPS CLEEVE’S position at the bottom of the table was made no better after a home defeat to fellow Gloucestershire side Yate Town.
Cleeve thought they had taken the lead in the opening three minutes but Elliot Kennedy saw consecutive shots land on the line, not over.
Yate then took the lead slightly against the run of play on 12 minutes, when Ben Tunnicliff handled a shot on the line and Steven Davies stepped up to give the visitors the lead from the spot – Tunnicliff lucky to stay on the field.
