JOE Shelley’s second-half header earned Horsham all three points at a chilly Culver Road, in a hard-fought win for Dom Di Paola’s side.
Dean Bown set Horsham on their way early on, sliding home in the eighth minute after a long ball over the top.
Horsham had numerous chances to stretch their lead and were punished on 29 minutes when Charlie Webster dragged the visitors level.
Horsham re-took the lead early on in the second half, with a leaping Shelley header from a corner but they were made to sweat by Hythe before holding out to win.
