ROBINS OPEN RACE PROBE

ILKESTON TOWN have appealed to their followers to name and shame the fan who racially abused one of their players during Tuesday night’s 3-0 Midland League Division One game at Bolehall Swifts.
It is alleged that the taunt directed against Ilkeston’s 19-year-old striker Montel Gibson was made by one of the club’s own supporters.
Club chairman Alan Hardy said that whoever made the remark will be banned from the club and reported to the police.
