WHILE a lot of fans moan about there being so few midweek games after September, we are beginning to see why.
There were a host of postponements during the most reason midweek after a cold week.
Maybe the fixture schedulers, across all divisions, deserve a bit of credit. Most teams have already played over half their league games and there will be plenty of time to fit in any fixtures that do fall foul to the weather.
Granted, not all winters are as cold as this one, but getting a raft of games played early was the right decision this year.
