ALEX READ’S double strike set up a convincing win for Harlow, with both sides reduced to ten after the game was over as a contest.
Until the 36th minute, this game had all the hallmarks of a goalless draw.
Both sides showed little enthusiasm early on with the only shot, from Matty Foy, taken easily by Hawks keeper Sam Szymczyk.
But everything changed when Harlow’s Junior Dadson struck home a superb goal from an acute angle.
Lowestoft had been three weeks without a game and it showed, with Harlow taking total control.
