HASTINGS had to come back from a two-goal deficit to defeat a determined Ramsgate 4-2.
Alfie Paxman opened the scoring for the visitors on three minutes following a slip in the United defence, and four minutes later Liam Dickson doubled the Rams’ advantage.
Hastings got back into the game on 25 minutes when Dayshonne Golding cut in from the right to fire home from 18 yards, before levelling the match with a fine solo effort.
And the hosts took the lead six minutes before the break when Calum Davies broke clear and fired past Luke Watkins.
