GOALS at crucial times ensured Chipstead collected three valuable points with victory over Herne Bay.
Chips took the lead on 12 minutes, when Leon Lalor-Dell seized on a loose ball and fired home. Herne Bay pressed for an equaliser after half-time, but could not make the crucial breakthrough.
Chipstead doubled their lead, as Lalor-Dell broke forward again and fired home on 81 minutes.
Substitute Dean Lodge put the icing on the cake for the home fans when he sidefooted in late on.
