A SOLITARY goal scored in the 27th minute by Egham’s Matt Woods settled this match, a lovely left-foot curler beating Dan Gould in the Rovers goal all ends up.
Egham dominated possession in the first half and Rovers’ Gould was by far the busier of the two keepers with Egham‘s forwards also wasteful with their finishing.
The second half was edged by Rovers but, in yet another home loss, their forward play failed to threaten Aaron Buffton in the Egham goal.
