KURT’S ENERGY PROVES CRUCIAL

CLITHEROE 4 GLOSSOP NORTH END 1

CLITHEROE dominated the game from start to finish and rightly ended up with all three points.
The game took a while to come to life and with the first real attack Glossop’s Ryan White drove a left-footed shot through a forest of legs.
Kurt Willoughby equalised on the stroke of half time with a trademark run and drive.
The second half was all Clitheroe. On 54 minutes the Glossop keeper fumbled a Willoughby shot and Ross Dent thumped it home.
On 85 minutes Alex Newby latched onto a lofted free kick and steered it past the keeper.
