Hard… but always fair!

ONE of the joys of Non-League football is that players often seem a harder breed than those in the big leagues. Hard tackles were not frowned upon, and players who went down in the penalty area for no good reason were told to get on with the game.
Today, too many players are copying the often overpaid stars of the Premier League, turning small incidents into dramas, during which the referee is surrounded by both teams.
