GULLS BRANCH OUT

TORQUAY United are aiming to enter a reserve team in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League next season.
The Gulls aims to follow in the footsteps of Devon rivals Plymouth Argyle, who made the same move three years ago and won promotion from the Step 7 Division One West at the first attempt. Torquay want to join Division One East.
The aim is to provide a route for the Gulls’ revived academy under 16s side into open age football and will see them play local derby games against the likes of Newton Abbot Spurs, Bovey Tracey and Teignmouth AFC.
