CARSHALTON kept up their assault on the Bostik South summit with a hard-fought victory over Horsham.
The match began evenly but the home side started to assert their dominance and came close twice before eventually opening the scoring on 17 minutes. Tommy Bradford took down a Levi Phillips cross before creating some space and smashing in his seventh of the season.
The Robins failed to turn their superiority into more goals however and, just after the hour, Horsham equalised through Steve Metcalfe.
