JOE Wilton’s second-half strike earned Slimbridge a point.
A dull first half from two teams lacking in confidence was lit up by a moment of real quality on 20 minutes when a deep, looping left-wing cross from Michael Hopkins was met by a stunning 15-yard volley from Roger James beyond Slimbridge keeper Oliver Hall.
The Swans gradually grabbed the initiative after the break and started to put real pressure on the home defence in a bid to draw level.
