GULLS’ GARY DESERVES A BREAK, SAYS RIVAL SMITH

BROMEY manager Neil Smith expressed sympathy for his opposite number Gary Owers after watching his Bromley side hit four past troubled Torquay United.
Louis Dennis set the Ravens on their way with his 13th goal of the season, which was followed by second half strikes from Adam Mekki, Luke Wanadio and former Gulls’ loanee Josh Rees.
Dennis then missed the chance to complete a fivestar rout from the penalty spot late on but it mattered little as Torquay were left rooted to the bottom of the table.
