DEREHAM Town denied league leaders AFC Hornchurch the chance to go nine points clear after battling to an excellent 0-0 draw on a sticky Aldiss Park pitch. The hosts had their first chance when Andy Howell found Rhys Logan with a great ball to the right; the winger passed inside to Ryan Crisp who cracked a fierce shot narrowly wide. Hornchurch replied with Theo Fairweather- Johnson forcing home keeper Elliot Pride to produce a tremendous save to turn his goalbound drive over the bar.
