AFC HORNCHURCH have turned to an old foe in a big to replace a departed fans favourite.
The Bostik North leaders have clinched the signing of former Dagenham & Redbridge striker Christian Assombalonga having already scored against the Urchins this season, for Chelmsford City and Waltham Abbey last weekend.
He has been brought in to replace Matthias Fanimo who departed the Essex club this week to sign for Slovenian side NK Drava, who currently lie second in the country’s second tier.
