HANGING UP HIS BOOTS: Omer Riza

FORMER Histon striker and Leyton Orient boss Omer Riza has hung up his boots through injury at the age of 38.
The Arsenal graduate, who also turned out for West Ham United, Cambridge United and Turkish sides Denizlispor and Trabzonspor, decided to call time on his career just five games into a spell at Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Premier side Newmarket Town, where he scored one goal.
Riza agreed to help the Jockeys out before Christmas despite not having played a game for three years.
