STAINES deservedly took all three points.
After surviving a first minute scare when Trawlerboys striker Jake Reed scooped Harvey Hodd’s cross over the bar, the Swans took control. The first goal was a bit of a fluke as Max Worsfold’s right wing corner held in the wind and dropped just inside the near post.
They increased their lead six minutes later when Elliott Buchanan was on hand to fire home.
Lowestoft came out for the second period fired up and had levelled the scores within ten minutes.
