THERE was late drama at Arbour Park as Matthew Lench fired Slough to all three points with a goal five minutes into stoppage time.
It was an incredible endto- end contest in which Merthyr goalkeeper Oliver Davies saved two penalties – one from Ben Harris and the second from Lench – but he could not prevent the Slough midfielder slotting home the rebound to win the match.
Lench gave Slough an early lead, thrashing a volley past Davies at his near post on six minutes.
