FERNANDO Toxtle-Bell’s double ensured there was no hangover for league leaders Basford from their first league defeat last week, with a convincing 5-1 win against Newcastle Town.
Toxtle-Bell gave them a two-goal lead in the first 22 minutes, firing in from ten yards after seven minutes and then heading in from close range.
Aaron Bott put the visitors back in the game four minutes later, rounding Saul Deeney. Lewis Carr restored Basford’s two goal lead, bundling home Ash Grayson’s corner.
