■BEDWORTH’s ruthless pursuit of promotion suffered an untimely stutter against Belper as they could only claim a solitary point.
Bedworth huffed and puffed but couldn’t break down a stubburon Belper defence when it mattered most.
Bedworth went into a 13th minute lead as Luke Keen opened the scoring and at that stage an away win seemed likely.
However, Belper pulled a crucial goal back through Alex Steadman on 34 minutes to seal an all-important point.
