Invicta’s play-off charge stutters

FOLKESTONE’S play-off challenge suffered a minor jolt when they were held by a fiercely determined Kingstonian, personified by captain Kevin Maclaren’s perpetual motion in midfield.
Debutant striker Jason Williams gave Ks a 53rdminute lead and though Adam Yusuff levelled nine minutes later, Invicta failed to take their late chances to win it.
Conditions were not conducive to good football and the first half was a non-event.
