AFTER beating Aldershot away 2-1, Macclesfield backed that fantastic result up with another top-of-thetable clash victory over high-flying Tranmere Rovers away four days later.
Two goals apiece from the experienced Danny Whitaker and Elliott Durrell helped Macc to a 4-1 victory to extend their lead at the top.
Two massive months ahead for Jon Askey’s men in the fight for promotion.
