TEN-MAN Hythe Town held on for over an hour to secure a priceless 2-1 win against fellow play-off contenders Cray Wanderers.
It was a rear-guard effort at times in the second half as the ten men understandably tired but Cray, for all their possession, had only a couple of long-range shots – aside from Charlie MacDonald’s breakaway goal on 84 minutes which produced a tense finale.
