AMBER ALERT AFTER EMMA

STORM Emma has left Carlsberg South West Peninsula Premier outfit Falmouth Town counting the cost after part of a stand’s roof was ripped off by high winds.
The corrugated sheet roof was lifted by a ferocious easterly wind and blown into the adjacent car park.
It landed on a number of cars, some of which had been left there because of the heavy snowfall. Minor damage was caused to the vehicles.
A garage door at the ground was also blown off, and some of the floodlights were found not to be working.
Ambers’ officials appealed to volunteers to help clear up the debris.
