GOUGH STRIKES TWICE FOR TOWN

ASHFORD TOWN (MIDDX) 4 UXBRIDGE 1
A SUPERB second half from Ashford Town saw them leave Uxbridge in their dust and see out a comfortable win.
The hosts started well and took the lead when Jack Beadle’s corner was met at the near post by a diving Mitchal Gough.
But on 41 minutes Uxbridge were level with a header of their own from Corey Watson at the near post.
After the break Cole Brown should have put Uxbridge ahead but with the goal at his mercy he hit the inside of the post before the hosts twice cleared off the line.
