BRAVE Northwood achieved a well deserved draw against the East division leaders after playing the majority of the second half with an emergency goalkeeper.
Rushden missed a number of chances before Evans Kouassi gave Woods the lead on the halfhour. Diamonds drew level five minutes into the second half as Joel Gyasi bundled the ball home despite the brave efforts of keeper Xavi Comas, who suffered a neck injury and was stretchered off.
