GOALS either side of half-time handed Haringey Borough a deserved home victory over Canvey Island.
The first of those efforts came on 36 through Ralston Gabriel. Andre McCollin poked the ball through to Gabriel whose initial shot was blocked by Henry Newcombe. However, Canvey failed to deal with the danger and the ball was played back in for Gabriel to fire home left-footed from six yards.
And the hosts wrapped up the victory 15 minutes from time.
