LOOK ROO ‘S ALL SET TO TAKE OVER?

WAYNE Rooney ‘s agent Paul Stretford is close to taking over Cheshire League Premier Division outfit Rylands FC.
Stretford, 59, played for the Orford-based outfit in the 70s and 80s, and now wants to buy their Rylands Recreation Club.
The owner of the Lymmbased Triple S Sports and Entertainment Group will complete the takeover in the coming weeks subject to due diligence.
Stretford, who represents the Everton and England striker, has already spent £100,000 on ground improvements and has ambitious plans to take the club into the Football League.
