■ HYDE United dropped out of the automatic promotion places after being surprisingly held by struggling Skelmersdale.
The Tigers had a couple of great chances to keep themselves second, but drawing a blank has led to them dropping below Scarborough.
Peter Crooks made a fine save to deny Skelmersdale an early lead before Hyde began to press for an opener. They almost had it when defender Tyrone Gay’s header dropped just wide.
Dominic McHale was later denied by a good stop from Roberts before his follow-up was cleared off the line.
