ROMFORD’S hopes of avoiding the drop look increasingly slim after this local derby defeat left them bottom of the division, five points behind Norwich United, with just two games remaining.
Two goals from Tony Stokes earned the points for the Blues who went into the match needing one point to ensure their own safety.
There were two goals in the opening eight minutes of the first half with Stokes putting Brentwood ahead on four minutes only for Carlos Djalo Oso to equalise four minutes later.
