FAVERSHAM upset the odds to down high-flying Lewes in part thanks to a late goal from Harry Stannard.
The Lilywhites got the perfect start when Mobolaji Dawodu struck after just nine minutes, firing home after a miscued clearance by the travelling side.
Lewes are battling away with Carshalton at the top of the division and pressed for an equaliser but couldn’t quite find their normal fluidity.
