BARKING defeated Hertford Town 4-2 in a see-saw encounter.
The hosts nudged themselves in front after nine minutes through Emmanuel Osei before Adem Ramadan restored parity eight minutes later. Daniel Palmer helped re-establish Hertford’s advantage, before Billy Jones’ equaliser left the game finely poised.
A superb penalty save by Hertford keeper Charlie Mann kept the match level, but Alan Taylor soon gave the Londoners the lead for the first time and with five minutes left, Kemo Darboe sealed the win.
