POTTERS Bar Town clinched promotion from the North Division and earned a place in the Bostik Premier at the expense of Bowers and Pitsea, whose own victory was in vain.
The first 20 minutes were fairly even, but five minutes later James Budden rose highest from a corner to bury a header past Chris Clark to give the Scholars the lead.
