RON’S IN AS TOWN LOOK TO FUTURE

ANDOVER Town – who were punished by the FA for refusing to accept promotion to Step 4 – have a new management team.
Following the decision of Glenn Burnett to retire from Portway, Ron Bertie has been placed in charge of the Sydenhams Wessex Premier runners-up, who have been relegated to Step 6.
Bertie is a UEFA B licenced coach who has gained recent experience with AFC Bournemouth.
His assistant is Jason Holmes, who had coached at Southampton’s academy and in local junior football and is also a UEFA B coach.
