AN ELI Hey double and a long-range strike from Connor Smythe condemned visitors Lincoln United to defeat in a lively encounter.
Hey converted a near post cross in the fifth minute to give the Colls the lead but the away side responded well to falling a goal behind. But despite enjoying a period of sustained pressure they could not find the allimportant equaliser.
The second half saw the Whites press again but Hey’s second from close range turned the tide and a fine Smythe shot from outside the box doubled their advatange.
