LEWIS Powell struck twice as Larkhall brought Thatcham Town back down to earth with a bang.
The Kingfishers had enjoyed a 6-0 success over Fleet in midweek but Larkhall capitalised on their slow start this time around, Powell opening the scoring on 16 minutes.
Thatcham’s Lewis Coyle had a shout for a penalty when he seemed to be pulled back in the box while, just before halftime, Shane Cooper-Clark played in Andy Jenkinson, but Shaun Semmens made a great block to deny the Thatcham midfielder an equaliser.
