BAKER’S BACK AT HIS OLD MANOR

ILKESTON Town have lured their popular former skipper Matt Baker back to the New Manor Ground as they press for promotion from the Midland Premier.
Academy scholar Baker spent seven years at Ilkeston before moving to Grantham Town at the end of the 2016-17 season.
Last season, he played under recently-appointed Ilkeston boss Martin McIntosh at Buxton, alongside team mate Joe Maguire.
He had been playing for Redditch United this season.
Baker said: “Ilkeston Town is showing a lot of ambition and everyone is aiming to get the club back to where it once was.
